The College provides Hostel facilities to the eligible students of the college. There is one Girls' Hostels (Three Blocks) and one Boys' Hostel within the College Campus. Each of these Hostels have their own piece of history with famous alumni. These Hostels have their own cooking staff. The over all in-charge of any Hostel is its Superintendent, usually a faculty member of the college. Then, there are prefects (from among the Hostel boarders) who assist the Superintendent. The Hostel runs their own mess committee, which operates on a no-loss-no profit basis.

Hostel Admission
The Hostel seats are allotted on merit basis. Moreover few seats are reserved for the students belonging to reserved categories. The allotment of hostel seat (boys'/girls') to the selected candidate for Hostel Admission is made immediately after the completion of Admission process. The selected candidates for Hostel accommodation shall have to pay the necessary hostel admission fee within the stipulated period of time as fixed by the College Authority; otherwise Hostel seat will be cancelled
Hostel Rules
- The students should report personally to the Superintendent(s) of the Hostel for Hostel Admission.
- The boarders must maintain discipline and honest life style inside and out side of the Hostel.
- Boarders must abide by the Rules and Regulations of the Hostel prescribed by the College Authority, violation of which is subjected to disciplinary action including expulsion from the Hostel and College
- Boarders must abide by all the rules and regulations of 'Dhemaji College Hostel Rules'.
