The Computer Science & Application Department was established in the year 2010. The department provides facilities for admission in Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA) programmes under Dibrugarh University along with Certificate Course in Information Technology and Web Design aiming with boost up the computer literacy in the society. The department also conducts computer skill course at under-gradudate level as per Dibrugarh University syllabus.
